Vertical Al. alloy quenching furnace consists of 1. furnace shell, 2. furnace body, 3. heating element, 4. circulating fan, 5. guiding cover, 6. carrier lifting device, 7. door, 8. quenching tank, 9. charging and discharging traveling car, 10. electrical control system.
1, Furnace Shell
It is made of high quality steel plate and formed steel. It consists of roof steel structure, side wall steel structures and door gate face plate. Steel structures of roof and side wall are made of 12# hot mill channel steel and Q235 (5mm thick) steel plate and welded together, continuous welding is adopted between formed steels, and discontinuous welding is adopted between steel plate and formed steel. Door gate face plate is made of Q235 (12mm thick) steel plate as to ensure long service life and high-temperature-resistance performance.
The furnace shell is rectangular shape. It is designed with many temperature measurement holes for the purpose of checking at every time, and it will be sealed with refractory fibre while it is not working. The whole furnace shell provides a high rigidity, good appearance, strong and reliable structure, and less deformation. In addition, it is painted with anti-rust primer paint and silver powder finish paint. It uses color steel plate (0.3mm thick) for protective plate at the outside of shell, which is fixed onto formed steel frame through riveter part. To increase its safety, this furnace is designed with two sets of safety guard, one is separating the furnace with its surrounding working area, the height is 1100mm; the other is installed on the column frame as to prevent the operator from going into working area, the height is 400mm.
To rise the temperature rapidly, save the energy, control sensitively, it adopts a compound structure. Side wall and roof adopts full fiber (250mm fiber blanket). It is covered with 1Cr18Ni9Ti (2mm thick) heat-resistant stainless steel plate on the lining as to improve the capability of anti-brush, which extended its service life above 5 years. Such kind of structure provides a high rigidity, strong connection, better seal, less heat loss, less deformation, low heat storage, high insulation performance. thermal efficiency is improved by 25% compared with refractory brick. The skin temperature is less than 40ºC.
Heating Element: It adopts high temperature resistance wire (0Cr25Al5 material), and made into radiant tube, and installed vertically into air lines at both sides of furnace chamber from the top and fixed onto the roof flange, which is easy for replacement and maintenance. Heating element is hanged vertically, it features with large surface power, stable heating capability. Thermal efficiency shall be improved by 15% compared with traditional resistance wire and material.
It is equipped with 1 set of hot air circulating system in the furnace, to uniform the furnace temperature. It consists of circulating fan and guiding cover. Circulating fan can be disassembled separately and easy for maintenance.
