Solution treatment: Heating up within 15 minutes Holding 45 minutes at 465 °C (+/- 4 °C)

Air blow quenching: Transfer from the solution treatment into the quenching chamber within max. 10 seconds.

Cool down below 220 °C within 120 seconds.

Aging treatment: Heating up within 20 minutes

Holding 90 minutes at 223 °C (+/- 5 °C)
Cooling in air:  Cooling down inside the safety area to approx. 50 °C 
Cooling supported by fans
   
1.3 (T5)Heat treatment parameters (T5)
The operation of T5 heat treatment must be possible as an option in the aging furnace.
The process parameters will be defined after products in hand.
 
2. Capacity Requirement
Basic parameters: 48 weeks x 15 shifts x 8 hours = 5.760 hours / year
OEE = 85%
Quantity:  225.000 car sets (excl. 15% flexibility) shall be heat treated in 5.760 hours with the average OEE of 85%.
The evidence of conformity will be given with the following parameters wit OEE = 85%:

In case of the continuous equipment operation without any disturbances the output per 8 hours is 313 / 0,85 = 368 car sets,
the output per 1 hour is 313 / (0,85 x 8) = 46 car sets.

3. Process Description
- manual loading of the heat treatment rack with the Aluminium parts,
- manual part registration of the DMC code (provide manual DMC scanner),
- automatic loading of the fully loaded racks into the solution treatment area,
- automatic transfer from the solution treatment area into the quenching chamber,
- automatic transfer into the aging treatment area,
- automatic transfer into the cooling area after the aging treatment,
- automatic transfer out of the aging treatment area to the manual unloading work place,
 - manual part registration of the DMC code (provide manual DMC scanner),
- transfer line to move back the empty heat treatment racks to the loading area
- Additional EXIT and ENTRY station between the quenching station and the agingarea.
To be controlled separately by additional program module.
To be secured bylight barriers.
Incl. the necessary manual part registration by DMC scanner for EXITing and ENTRYing parts.
